Hampton Inn & Suites Albany-Airport

The rooms are very clean and the staff is very polite and helpful. If you have any issues, the staff will help you resolve them. The area is safe and convenient. Definitely recommend staying here.

We were very pleased with our room and the (brief) contracts we had with the staff. We stayed in a king suite that was set up very nicely for use. A comfortable bed with pillows that were usable. A loveseat with two small ottomans. A peninsula at a usable height with a TV on one side. A nice sink near the entrance to the room. A under-the-counter fridge. The bathroom was excellent with a very usable closet with hangers that are convenient to use. The bathtub/shower wasn't slippery and the shower pressure was adequate (I thought it was fine. The towels were large. The only problem with the room I had was that there wasn't any notepaper or pen in the room (nor a Bible). The room temperature was controlled by a wall thermostat. There were four outlet plugs for each side of the bed!! The breakfast was on par with other free motel breakfasts. Some of the apples were soft, so I threw (two) out before I found a fine one. All of it was much better than paying for breakfast! My wife and I were very pleased with this and will remember the Hampton Inn for the future. All of the staff I spoke with (3) were very pleasant. Beds were uncomfortable, clothes hangar mounted on wall fell off. Breakfast wss decent. Staff friendly.

Everything went wrong more or less, but none of it was the staff’s fault. I want to thank the staff for patience and caring while everything was a mess. First, on check in, the credit card reader and computer went down, so credit card transactions were on paper, and mine was rejected. The WiFi didn’t work, but they were ready for that with backup codes. Then, the AC wouldn’t respond to the wall remote, so the front desk guy tried changing the batteries. That failed so he offered a new room (we just asked for more blankets, which he promptly brought). Finally just before 7 am the AC finally turned off but funny thing, it was because the entire hotel lost power. After a dark but warm shower, we went down for a breakfast which the kitchen staff was making the best of! The cute Halloween light up pumpkin at the check in desk never failed. It was a nice visit! And they reduced our bill by about 25% also.

I've stayed at all the Hamptons in Albany and I this one rates high just like all of the others. They are clean, in good repair, and the staff is friendly. It's always a good experience at these locations, and I never get any bad service from anyone that I encounter. The only downside is that for some reason every Hampton in the area had broken water dispensers in the gym? I don't know why that is. This one has the nicest and best gym out of all of them also. Except the music is a little too loud and you can't turn it down. Maybe a dial or something from those of us who want to watch TV or take a call while working out? Not enough to take a star off the overall score though. I always recommend Hampton if you're staying for work and looking for a great value for the price.

Good sized pool, clean, rooms smelled pleasant without being perfumery, front desk very friendly and accommodating (helped me zip my backpack). Breakfast was better than expected for this class. There was construction noise until 8 pm one night, not sure if that was a time change issue or what. Would return

Great customer service with excellent help! Stayed here for several weeks on and off due to business and was always accommodated to meet our needs. Breakfast was one of my favorite things about this hotel because they serve an excellent one. If we ever need a hotel in the Albany area again I’ll be sure to book here! Very close to the airport as well as offers a shuttle service to and from the airport. Rooms were always clean, neat, and the check in/check out process was always simple. Highly recommend if you need to do so yourself.

Breakfast was poorly supplied both mornings. First morning, they had run out of napkins and proffered facial tissue boxes. Egg thingies were overcooked, dry and some burned. Second morning, ran out of eggs and yogurts with two hours to go. Fire the breakfast manager. Music was too loud, too. Room was comfortable but the A/C compressor is extremely loud when it goes on or off. The mini-fridge was a micro-fridge without a freezer and didn’t get cold. Disappointed.
